Unstoppable

Denzel Washington has some great movies and is, in my opinion, a good actor. His acting in this movie reminded of his acting in Remember the Titans. I know it is a completely different genre but for some reason the way he talked, the way he looked and the way he acted just reminded me of that character. Maybe it is the case of another Bruce Willis but either way, the acting was decent. All in all, the entire movie is about a run-a-way train. There isn’t any bad guys except the big ass missile of a train, there isn’t any plot other than to stop the train and of course corporate big wigs trying to safe a buck instead of doing what is smart in the first place. But really, the whole movie, well save for the first 5 to 10 minutes is about chasing down this train. Not my cup of coffee really, the movie could have been done in 30 minutes and been better than what it was in full length. You have to chase down a train and try to slow it down enough to avoid it derailing in a city….. really, there is ONLY so much you can do with that. It wasn’t painful to watch though and the acting didn’t seem “rigid” like in another recently reviewed movie so I’ll go with a 5.5/10 Mole Shui Movie Rating. I wouldn’t recommend spending the money on it though, again, instant queue on DVD if you already have Netflix.
